Due to our significant growth Surface Transforms is looking for a Quality Analyst to join as a key member of the Quality Team, reporting directly into the SHEQ Manager.

This role will be based on an annualised hours contract and is shift based. Monday – Friday 6am – 2pm or 2pm – 10pm.

Please note the salary includes a 15% shift allowance.


What you will be doing

  • Final inspection
  • Assists with concession & First Article Inspection measurements data
  • Prepare all documentation for traceability records
  • Prepare all documentation for release parts
  • Authority to sign/stamp all release certifications to customer
  • Material booking in/release
  • Advise production errors found
  • Use all inspection, general measuring equipment, verniers, micrometers etc. CMM is approved
  • Good computer skills to maintain records and documents
  • Comply fully with internal and external Quality Audits
  • Work within all company guidelines and procedures
  • Other duties may also be required

Qualifications

Essential

  • Automotive manufacturing experience
  • Inspection/QA Experience
  • Computer Literate
  • Experience of CMM
  • Indentured apprenticeship

Desirable

  • Formal Academic qualification in engineering
  • Working knowledge of ISO and Customer Quality Management Systems
