At the leading edge of ceramic friction technology. Surface Transforms is looking for a Machine Operator for its Special Vehicle Production (SVP) Cell. As a key member of the shift-based team you will work on all processes within the SVP to deliver production orders on time and to agreed quality requirements.

What you will be doing

Maintain high levels of Health & Safety standards within the SVP

Supporting the Team Leader to maintain & Implement the Quality Management System

Produce parts on both CNC Milling Machines & Surface Grinders

Action Quality Issues and support all SVP Non-Conformance Meetings

Maintain good housekeeping practices at all ties

Support product and process optimization in line with the quality needs of the business

The Skills, Knowledge and Experience you will need to bring

You will have operator experience of CNC Machining

Experience of working to tight tolerances

Need to have:

A multidisciplinary approach to work

A delivery focus approach to work

Excellent communication skills

The ability to work at a pace whilst in pressure situations

The ability to work as pat of a team and on your own with minimum supervison

Nice to have:

MS Office skills
