Nurse Seekers is proud to be recruiting a Qualified Nursery Practitioner on behalf of a small, progressive family business Nursery based near Thursley, Godalming. This setting is developing daily and it is a great chance to join a friendly team with true future progression They are very committed to finding the right team member for the setting so will consider part:time, full:time and even term:time

Key Responsibilities

  • To plan as part of a team and implement a curriculum programme, meeting the needs of individual children, supporting and enabling their learning.
  • To be involved in the delivery of an effective early years service, participating in relevant teams as necessary.
  • Keep abreast of early years local and national developments.
  • To support childrens well:being meeting the needs of the individual child in accordance with our duty of care.
  • Support and challenge childrens learning, through stimulating and purposeful learning situations indoors and outdoors to help children develop skills in the Prime and Specific Areas of Learning for children up to the age of five.
  • Organise the learning environment to best enable childrens learning and encourage and extend childrens questions and investigations (displays, artefacts/resources, furniture, etc).
  • Encourage the emotional, social, physical, creative and intellectual development of the children.
  • Liaise with the SENCO and childrens keyworkers, implement individual programmes for children with additional needs and be committed to working in an environment which promotes inclusion.
  • Contribute to the warm, supportive and caring environment for all children.
