What You’ll Do
  • Lead the Qualification services Project management team.
  • Manage a global team and ensure we have coverage across all regions globally.
  • Drive strong collaboration efforts and partnerships across Global Service organization (e.g. Regions, Product Mgmt, Technology Ops) and various cross-functional teams (e.g. Customized Bioprocess Solutions(CBS), Automation & Digital, R&D, Quality/Regulatory, Supply Chain, Sourcing)
  • Partner with the Enterprise team and develop shared ways of working.
  • Drive and enhance team competency/development via continuous upskilling through structured training plans across technical framework; conduct regular coaching/mentoring sessions
  • Ensure adequate staffing, resources and succession planning to deliver on customer order demands
  • Act as escalation point and respond/resolve internal & external issues requiring management intervention
  • Participate in analytics and planning for operational, budgetary and mid/long term strategies and goals
  • Drive overall project reconciliations and rigor for cross-charge hours logging (EZ Labor / LTR) and collaborate/review/budget with finance as appropriate; drive BI improvements to automate dashboards/data sets
  • Maintain appropriate relationships with expertise suppliers/vendors
  • Communicate projects current state and changes/updates to management at global and regional levels as appropriate
  • Implement standardized process around project management.
  • Ensure delivery of customer projects in a timely manner
  • Manage QS custom offerings including pricing and framework
  • Host customer facing meetings and present QS offerings
  • Develop and maintain quality-controlled processes/SOPs
  • Manage templates used for quoting and managing customer projects
  • Develop and manage customer facing training material
  • Support customer meetings as needed
  • Visit customer sites as needed to kick off projects and ensure proper execution of protocols at the site.
  • Work cross functionally with other function in qualification services.
  • Leverage DBS as appropriate
  • Travel as needed – 10-15%
Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or relevant work experience.
  • Experience of demonstrated capability to lead a team to achieve short-term and long-term goals and to drive that team to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives
  • Experience with hosting external customer meetings & training sessions
  • Experience planning resource and staffing needs via balancing high priority customer demands and longer trem strategic needs
  • Strong focus on customer, quality and meeting customer needs
  • Ability to lead and motivate others, both within direct supervisory and matrix environments.
  • Experience of working in a global environment.
  • Demonstration of innovation and adaptability to further advance business operations and customer experience
  • Communicates effectively at all levels of the organization. Expresses ideas clearly and simply both verbally and in writing. Promotes timely, ongoing flow of information to others. Communicates and listens effectively to develop and maintain key business relationships.

  • Understanding issues at a region level but also able to see the bigger picture relevant to organization on a global scale.
  • Understanding of how to manage customer projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams etc.), e-mail, web browsers and spreadsheet software
  • Strong Command of the English language both written and spoken
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Commissioning and Qualification
  • Desirable: Knowledge of DBS tools and understanding of Cytiva products
