Overview

If you’re in the early stages of your finance career what would you wish for from your next role?

If you’re immediately available and considering temporary positions, there’s still no reason why it can’t help with your career progression long term.

Maybe you’d like to work for a small team so you’re hands on, getting good exposure or maybe you’d like to have guaranteed progression proven as other employees have progressed as well.

It’s an exciting time to join the team as they’ve gone through a bit of restructure so to start off with this will be a temporary position for 6 months but they do foresee for the right person it becoming permanent.

You’ll be someone who has around of 18 months plus ledger experience and potentially studying AAT Level 2/3 though, that’s not essential. If it’s something you’ve always wanted to do study support will be on offer (after 3 months)

You will be someone though who is driven and eager to do more showing the enthusiasm and willingness to put in the hard work to reap the rewards later down the time.

Your main responsibilities will be heavily Ledger focussed on Purchase ledger as its high transactional. Not just processing invoices though, this covers expenses, payment runs, bacs payments, credit notes, statement recs (to name a few).

This will be a great chance to broaden widen your skillset in a hands-on accounts role working in a busy department perfect if you’re looking for some growth!

Requirements
  • Available to commit to the 6-month contract with the potential of going per
  • Available to start at short notice
  • Experience in finance administration/ ledger work for a minimum of 12 – 18 months
  • Good Excel skills
  • At AAT level 3 or less (full study support on offer)
  • This will be fully office based.
