Our client based in Chepstow is seeking a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join the team on a permanent basis.

As a Purchase Ledger Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up new supplier accounts for the sales team, following the internal compliance policies.
  • Daily processing and posting of purchase invoices.
  • Processing time-sensitive upfront payments and VAT payments on request from Sales Admin & Logistics.
  • Compiling supplier payment runs for authorisation by senior Finance team.
  • Daily posting and allocation of purchase payments to supplier accounts in the relevant ledgers.
  • Periodic review of the creditors aging report and reconciliation of key supplier accounts.
  • Preparation of month end accruals for accountant.
  • Carrying out ad-hoc finance activities, as and when requested by senior Finance team members.

What you will require to be successful:

  • Previous Purchase Ledger experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (outlook, word excel)
  • Previous experience of processing purchase orders and dealing with customer & suppliers enquiries is highly desirable.
