Because with growth like this, there’s a real need to build up our property portfolio, which is why we’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Property Assistant, with a focus on Construction, to join the team on a fixed-term contract.

You’ll have diligent control of large-scale project spends and forecasts, as well as being involved in the analysis of financial projections, so it’s important you have a keen eye for detail. Crucially, you’ll continually identify ways to improve processes and practices to then implement and embed them within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project administration to include: fee tracking, invoice processing, logging and reviewing various documents including tenders and contracts.
  • Diligent control of large-scale project spends and forecasts.
  • Collation and analysis of reports using SAP, Excel and Aldi systems.
  • Analysis of financial projections and liaising with external commercial team to ensure monthly cash flows are accurate and construction documentation is processed in line with the project timeline.
  • Reconciliation of large-scale project budgets.
  • Continually identify ways to improve processes and practices, then implement and embed them.
  • Provide organisational and administrative support to the National Property Director and National Construction Team.

Essential Skills Required:

  • Invoice control/project administration/experience in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative and with a wider team.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive, collaborative attitude.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks whilst unsure pressure.
  • Willingness to take responsibility with a pragmatic, goal-oriented approach.
  • Accuracy at record keeping.
  • Passionate about delivering a great service and conscious of the impact that your work has on the wider business.
  • Proficient use of MS Office Suite (intermediate Excel as a minimum).

  • Salary starting from £32,075, rising to £37,455.
