You will provide operational and administrative support to the Goods Not For Resale Team throughout the non-merchandise procurement process, specifically by assisting with the management of the SAP Ariba procurement function. You’ll also support the development and implementation of category plans, as well as interpreting spend analytics to inform sourcing activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation and maintenance of catalogues and uploading and maintenance of contracts.
  • Support the creation of RFIs, RFPs and auctions.
  • Create and publish full and quick sourcing projects.
  • Create supplier records and add contact information to the supplier’s Ariba profile.
  • Create knowledge reports.
  • Create analytical reports and running pre-packaged reports.
  • Procurement and contract management.
  • Regular engagement with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the administration and delivery of sourcing projects and the realisation of cost savings.
  • Support the development and implementation of category plans, as well as interpreting spend analytics to inform sourcing activity.

  • Supplier on-boarding.

Essential Skills Required:

  • Goods Not For Resale experience
  • Strategic sourcing, contract and supplier management experience.
  • Building strong internal and external relationships.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Comprehensive IT skills and experience including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Data analytical skills.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of personal organisation.
  • Tracking of cost savings with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Flexible to business requirements.
  • Ability to plan ahead.
  • Polite and professional manner.
  • Capable of being the external face of the department to both internal and external stakeholders.

Desirable Skills Required:

  • Data Analytics/Member of MCIPS.
  • Operational experience of SAP Ariba.

  • Salary starting from £32,075, rising to £37,455.
