Hull

Fixed Term until 31st December 2023

3 x 15 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Salary: £12,598.38per annum

or

7.5hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Salary: £6,299.19per annum

As our Project Trainers,youwill provide excellent facilitation of outstanding teaching and learning that allows learners to make progress and achieve. You will also plan and facilitate excellent assessment and quality assurance practices across areas of competency

The post holder will liaise and develop employer and stakeholder relationships that generate business opportunities across the employability and skills team. and assessment

Responsibilities of our Project Trainers:

  • To deliver teaching, learning and assessment in a classroom, work based or distance learning context across the following areas:
  • management / business admin; (1 pst)
  • hospitality / customer service / retail; (1 post)
  • manufacturing / warehusing (1 post)
  • To check all areas of learner welfare in the workplace. Health and safety, equality, safeguarding adequate supervision etc. and report any concerns back to line manage
  • To generate new business opportunities within funded projects.
  • Implement internal quality assurance plans and activities in line with college procedures as and when required within area of competency.
  • Support other delivery staff in delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment
  • To carry out enrolment, initial assessment, induction, pre-screening and information sessions for learners and employers across all of the above areas.
  • To carry progress reviews, action plans through the appropriate method and update learners and employers on progress towards achievement in line with college and contractual requirements

What we’re looking for in our Project Trainers:

  • Subject specific Level 3/4 qualification
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training/Cert Ed/PGCE (or willingness to achieve within two years)
  • Minimum of a level 2 qualification in English and maths
  • Experience of supporting teaching and learning in a classroom, workshop or workplace environment
  • Experience of working with a range of qualifications and awarding bodies
  • Knowledge of at least one specialist sector: management / business admin; hospitality / customer service / retail; manufacturing / warehousing
