Engagement & Training Co-Ordinator

Hull

Fixed Term until 31st December 2023

Salary: £31,076FTE per annum

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

As our Engagement & Training Co-Ordinator,youwill be responsible for the colleges employer engagement activity to build key customer relationships and deliver income generation through the recruitment onto a range of programmes and opportunities for learners. You will be one of several Employer Engagement Managers within the college, but your role will be focused on developing relationships with employers and organisations to work with us on upskilling adults, be these unemployed or under-employer.

The post holder will champion employer engagement across the college and lead in the building of mutually beneficial relationships between the college and external stakeholders providing high quality information, advice and guidance ensuring employer and learner needs are met.

Responsibilities of our Engagement & Training Co-Ordinator:

  • Achieve recruitment, income and sales targets as well as other KPls as agreed with the Head Institute in line with the colleges strategic plan.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all stakeholders and act as the initial point of contact for all new and existing employers
  • Be responsible for the building of mutually beneficial relationships with employers and external stakeholder
  • Use appropriate routes to market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Undertake detailed Organisational Needs and Training Needs Analysis.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of information provided to employers in line with relevant funding and policy guidance.
  • Engage employers in the co-design and co-delivery of programme development to support and inform curriculum intent and implementation.
  • Represent all college products supporting employers to address their business needs.
  • Work collaboratively across the college to continually develop employment opportunities for students across a range of areas including but not limited to, apprenticeships, high level technical qualifications, study programme work experience, adult and HE programmes.
  • Maximise the use of market intelligence to inform employer engagement, sales and marketing strategies.

What we’re looking for in our Engagement & Training Co-Ordinator:

  • Level 2 in Maths and English
  • Experience in a commercial customer facing role
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other online applications (especially for data interrogation)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including confidentially and attention to detail
  • Excellent planning, organisation and prioritising skills
  • Experience of working with sensitive data and operating in accordance to the GDPR.
