Project Support Officer Working From Home Full Time £28,000

HAYS Technology are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity, working as a Project Support Officer.

This is a permanent position working from home for a company based in Darlington.

The purpose of the Project Support Officer is to support the PMO and Project Delivery teams in ensuring that the Project Delivery Lifecycle is adhered to throughout the project portfolio of work.

Key duties:

PMO Function

• Support the PMO Lead on the PMO Function
• Perform Project Log and Dependency reviews
• Perform regular Project Heath and Data Checks
• Ensuring all process are understood and adhered to

• Managing the Inbox and resolving any queries in a timely manner
• Arranging Meetings, producing and distributing documentation

• Review and standardised PMO Function Folder Structures
• Ensure PMO Documentation is fit for purpose
• Review and challenge processes and recommend improvements

• Raising new purchase orders
• Keeping the Central Purchase Order Database up to date
• Liaising with Finance/Project Managers to confirm payments
• Production of weekly Purchase Order Reports

• Record new Change Requests
• Issue Change Requests for impact assessments
• Ensure all documentation are stored for Audit

• Production and distribution or Packs
• Attend and capture any Actions or Decisions
• Produce, distribute, and archive Minutes for Audit

• Communication: Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills.
• Organised: Great attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Prioritise: The ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
• Ownership: The ability to collate information efficiently and accurately to ensure smarter ways of working.
