Overview

We currently have an exciting opportunity to support improvement and transformation programmes across our local area. The successful post holder will work alongside our partners in education, health and care and other key stakeholders. This post offers the opportunity to contribute towards outcomes of children and young people with special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

About The Role

The post holder will work in supporting the SEND Improvement Programme, with initial focus being in providing project support with the improvement journey cited in the Written Statement of Action, which came into effect following a visit from Ofsted in Spring 2022. This will require collaboration with a variety of colleagues across Buckinghamshire.

About You

The successful applicant will:
  • Experienced within improvement and change projects.
  • Able to lead as required.
  • Possess knowledge of legislation relating to children with SEND, Ofsted/Care Quality Commission SEND inspection knowledge
  • Possess knowledge of health services
  • Have the ability to write reports and maintain project documentation, whilst being Comfortable liaising with stakeholders from across organisations
  • Be relied upon to pick out key details, decisions and actions and share these with relevant stakeholders. Whilst owning the follow up of these actions
  • Be able to build trusting relationships with the team and wider stakeholders, identifying interdependencies and eradicating duplication
