Our opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity in SIX for a Project Manager to join our diverse team dedicated to the Energy Services Portfolio. Your role will be specifically aligned to manage and support the EDF Project. Thales have a strong and effective relationship working with EDF spanning decades, supporting six of EDF’s eight nuclear power stations with Data Processing and Control Systems (DPCS).

Your role will be to undertake project management activities, specifically customer management and supply chain management tasks to support the overall management of the EDF project. This will require an understanding of software development. Rigour to change control, commercial awareness and stakeholder management will be key, will support from the Project Management team. It will require the successful management of the relationship with internal and external key UK and international customers.

About You

You will have a track-record of delivering successful bids and projects and working in a complex, multidisciplinary, multi-site organisation, together with experience of Project Managing (including Work Package Management)

You will have excellent negotiation skills with the ability to deal with customers, partners, suppliers and other parts of the business (stakeholder management skills).

The will need the ability to adapt personal style of management and communication to achieve the desired results from interactions with team members and stakeholders and an ability to embrace and encourage change.
