Project Management Accountant
Location: Office based-Birmingham (B37)
Salary: Competitive
Hours: Full-time, Monday

As a Project Management Accountant, your role will combine accounting and business management skills. This role offers significant investment in the development of processes in the short term but long term, there are likely to be other opportunities to develop your skills and experience. The area of responsibility would require expertise in management accounts analysis, journals, reconciliations etc.to cover; Project setup on LATIS, including loading of Budgets. Ensuring Invoices are raised at appropriate stages throughout a project. Monthly Project reviews with Engineers, to determine project progress along with cost analysis. Running Job Cost routines in LATIS Monthly reporting
  • Using of Salesforce and XRT to enter financial results. Issuing of various monthly and weekly reports
  • Weekly Bookings, Revenue & Backlog reports, CTC and Warranty schedules Maintain: Project register, Sales, and Invoice banks Raise Bond/Guarantees as required.General requirements for the role: Finance / Accounting degree and being qualified for CIMA or ACCA - a recently qualified person or a part qualified with a high level of experience. Expertise in management accounts analysis, journals, and reconciliation. Previous working experience in a finance department of a company, preferably within a project/job cost environment. Ability to collect and summarise information. Good organisational skills with an eye for detail and the ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks. Ability to work to tight deadlines, collating relevant data as well as the preparation and entry of accounting journals. Good communication skills with the ability to understand others’ needs and express information in a clear and concise manner. Ability to build and work on Excel / Google sheets. And/or knowledge in data warehouse tools.
