Your Role
The Professional Services Engagement Manager is the primary point of escalation for client issues during a project and will build a working relationship with their sales counterparts within an assigned sales geography. The Professional Services Engagement Manager is also closely involved in helping mentor, develop, and evaluate consultants.
Your Opportunity
- Engage with clients to understand their business and security objectives to map Tenable solutions & scope Custom automation and integration services to achieve these objectives.
- Scoping of proposals and commercial offers with oversight of the commercial process in collaboration with Tenable sales teams.
- Development of an actionable and measurable territory plan to achieve annual goals
- Enablement of Territory Managers, Sales Engineers and Customer Success Managers in the capabilities, offerings and downstream client value through the use of Professional Services.
- Identification and development of specific opportunities and supporting business cases
- Overseeing delivery of projects in account, ensuring high quality delivery
- Act as single person of contact for Customer executives, developing deep, trustful relations
- Educate clients on Tenable services and translate those into a clear business value proposition
- Business planning and forecasting.
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience in IT consulting, information security and/or related fields
- Project Management or project delivery oversight experience
- Enterprise IT management frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ITIL)
- Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards including PCI DSS, SOC-1&2, ISO 27001, etc
- Experience developing in Python, Perl, or Ruby
- Proven knowledge of core object-oriented programming (loops, function, inheritance, objects, etc...)
- Proven background developing applications in these languages that consume information from APIs or databases.
- Baseline understanding of both ‘traditional’/ virtualized and cloud based digital models - Networks, Servers. Endpoints, Storage etc
- Superior and highly effective client interface skills
- Experience running small consulting/delivery teams and project execution
- Ability to create presentations, proposals and SOWs
- Written communication skills include: formal documentation, statements of work, proposals, sources sought and request for information responses, white papers, case studies
- Ability to deliver billable consulting work, particularly project management and the delivery of Tenable advisory services
- Travel: Willing and able to travel to client sites up to 50%
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, or Computer field and security related experience.
