We have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Professional Construction Training Associate. The role is based in Salford, Greater Manchester.

You will be responsible for managing a caseload of aspiring construction professionals undertaking a range of level 3 and level 4 apprenticeship programmes

Responsibilities

  • You will facilitate the continued development of outstanding and innovative professional construction apprenticeship programmes.
  • Deliver to all learners the highest quality training, instruction, guidance and support, working towards outstanding timely achievement and overall success, embedding topics related to Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Prevent, Equality and Diversity and other related Acts.
  • Conduct assessment, evaluation and progress reviews as appropriate using portfolios and other ILT processes ensuring efficient working practices.
  • Develop, maintain and enhance relationships with employers through high quality delivery solutions and & best practice & relationship management, actively identifying opportunities for further work.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate must be motivated; proactive and adaptable to change.
  • You will have a proven track record delivering within apprenticeship provision; have sufficient industry experience and will be responsible for managing and developing key stakeholder relationships so great communication skills are a must.
  • A teaching-based qualification and a minimum level 5 construction qualification is essential
  • You will work closely with workplace managers/mentors to ensure that apprentices are well prepared and subsequently achieve the highest available grade at end point assessment; in a timely manner- motivating; organized and able to meet deadlines.

There will be travel involved to visit apprenticeships at employer sites, your mileage will be covered for these trips.

Salary

£29,000 – £31,800 – 26 hours per week – salary is a pro-rata of £41,331- £45,303
