HIRING NOW – JELD-WEN Penrith is currently recruiting Production Operatives to join our team. Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.

£11.18 to £12.91 per hour

Immediate start available

3 shift rotas: 06:00 to 14:00 – 14:00 to 22:00 – 22:00 to 06:00

Mon to Fri only

Full time, permanent contract

Overtime available at enhanced rates

Our manufacturing team members work within a fast-paced production environment performing any of the following duties:

  • general production duties – running production lines and operating machines in the production of internal doors
  • working on assembly lines
  • basic quality checks of products
  • maintaining high levels of housekeeping and 5S standards
  • other general warehouse duties

We are looking for someone who:

  • is flexible across a 3 shift pattern
  • speaks basic English
  • is committed to working safely
  • has a positive attitude and is able to work well as a team
