£10.58per hr + OT available

This is a temp to perm role – It is anticipated that after 12 weeks and subject to a successful probation, you will then be employed by the company direct

My client is looking to recruit a Production Operative / Warehouse Operative for their busy manufacturing site based in Clevedon near Bristol. The successful Production Operative / Warehouse Operative will be joining a forward-thinking company that very much appreciates its staff and customers. You will be working within a small team of around 9 staff. Your main role will be picking orders, preparing and distributing components, raw materials and finished goods for use within the Factory/Manufacturing areas or to be despatched as per the requirement of the business.

Production Operative / Warehouse Operative Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Picking Materials from a works order and delivering to the production area
  • Offloading / loading deliveries
  • Maintaining stock checks and levels both manually and on a computer

Key skills:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Counter Balance FLT beneficial but not essential as training will be provided
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer literate

The successful candidate will be joining an exciting, forward thinking company that offers a good salary and excellent benefits. This role may suit a person that may have previously worked as a Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Picker / packer / Assistant / Fork Lift Driver. This role is a 40 hour a week role, Monday to Friday. The hours of work are

08:00 – 16:45 Monday – Thursday,

8:00 – 12:15 Friday

OT is available on occasions and is paid at x1.5

Salary and Benefits

£22,000 pa (£10.58 per hr) rising after a successful probation
