Mon to Fri only

£10.77 per hour

Experience Not Essential

Full time, permanent contracts

Overtime available at enhanced rates

Jeld Wen Penrith is the market leader in the production of high-volume low complexity doors. Our state of the art production facility in Penrith has recently undergone a multimillion pound investment and is experiencing unprecedented customer demand for our high quality sustainable products. As a result we are recruiting for several Production Operativesto work in a large production and distribution site in Penrith.

As a Production Operative you will be working within a fast paced production environment and your duties will be as followed:

• General production duties – running of high volume production lines and machines GJ input
• Basic quality checks of product
• Maintain high levels of housekeeping and 5S standards
• Work safely at all times
• This is a fast-paced environment, all employees must work effectively as a team to maximise output and quality

Required Profile

• Available to start immediately
• Previous production experience is not essential but would be an advantage
• Must be able to speak basic English
• A positive attitude and able to work well as a team
• A high commitment to working safely
