Production Manager, £40000 - £45000 per annum, Permanent, 33 days leave, Life Assurance, Parking, Early Finish Friday

Our client is a leading steel infrastructural fabricator company in the UK specialising in rail, highways, energy and engineering.

They are currently looking to employ an experienced Production Manager to take the lead and ensure the production schedules and outputs are met and/or exceeded with the various shifts.

If you are an experienced Production Manager looking for a busy heavy gauge steel engineering / manufacturing environment we have the company for you.

Your responsibilities will be to ensure the day and night shifts have been organised, monitor their progress and ensure the expected production schedules targets are achieved per shift.

  • Ensure Production drawings are checked and signed off
  • Liaise with Project Managers to identify any problems which might arise
  • Managing a team of 60 workers
  • Liaise with Health and Safety Managers to ensure all health and safety risks are enforced
Key requirements

  • Experience of working in a structural steel or heavy gauge fabrication manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Understanding of structural steel fabrication processes
  • Excellent Management skills
