Position Summary

:

This role will be accountable for the Product Management of our strategic price management and price optimization solutions. The role will have flexibility to work remotely with some time spent in one of our European locations (UK, Belgium, Poland). The role will define, lead, and align the global vision and roadmap for price management and price optimization solutions; including the integration of partner solutions and products within our road maps. This role will collaborate with the Product Management teams across our Payment, POS, Forecourt Controller and Wetstock Management Products to optimize and deliver growth, profit and market opportunities. Whilst enabling the Regional Sales team "through defining the Feature-advantage-benefit matrices and detailed competitive analysis “.

Key Responsibilities

Product Definition
  • Lead new product, capability and service definition for current and future product offerings including partner products.
  • Work closely with the Solutions Product Marketing team and Engineering teams to align product family development, vision, voice of the market and competitive analysis into new product and product enhancement decisions, development, and delivery.
  • Lead the drafting of market needs, internal and external product requirements and building of financial models to support investments.
  • Ensure that our perspective and vision is Global.
Product Road Map
  • Provide a long-term vision and positioning for fuel pricing and margin management.
  • Define global product roadmaps for an ongoing three-year window including new service introduction, global product and platform consolidation, and end-of-life strategies to achieve our annual operating plan / financial targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic product and feature roadmaps systematically leveraging the voice of market; customer, prospect, competitive analysis, technology and channel partners
  • Coordinate closely with our Partner companies to ensure integration and fit into our product portfolios.
  • Ensure alignment of the product road map with R&D product development schedules, preproduction, production schedules, sales and marketing and overall strategic marketing.
Product Delivery
  • Accountable for the product stewardship through the lifecycle from ideation to release in a scalable agile environment.
  • Demonstrate excellence in execution; ensuring key stakeholders keep commitments and all whole product aspects are completed prior to product release
  • Manages the revenue / Gross margin for the products.
  • Support Product Marketing for new product introductions/ partner products and existing product releases to global sales teams.
  • Partner with the Global and Reginal sales teams to drive revenue, gross margin, and establish sales targets.
Leadership & Collaboration.
  • Collaborate with cross functional team to ensure product alignment to their customer demand and regional growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Teams, Engineering Architects and other Product Managers to ensure cohesion and alignment of strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Solutions Marketing team on competitive analysis, market assessment, and release management. Including for partner products as new introductions into our Product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the Global Sales / Regional Sales on “Go to market strategy”
  • Collaborate with the Regional sales teams in driving sales target achievement and enabling sales to realise our investment decisions.
  • Support strategic customer engagement as a DFS subject matter expert in the sales process.
  • Collaborate with our Partner companies to ensure you are the internal SME to enable integration and fit of products within our portfolio.
Work experience requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of product management or engineering experience preferably in cloud-based software solutions targeting industrial or IoT markets
  • Minimum two years of global accountability for a product portfolio
  • Subject matter expertise in fuel pricing and margin management.
  • Experience and interest in the global fuel retail and convenience retail.
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional global teams in multiple time zones.
  • Experience of complex interdependent projects / products.

The candidate should also possess the following skills, knowledge and abilities:
  • Excellent communication skills having a high comfort level interacting with senior management, channel partners and customers; both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills; developing high performing cross-functional teams and influencing across hierarchies.
  • Strong business acumen
  • Demonstrated project management experience, particularly as it relates to cross-functional coordination and communication.
  • Has a customer driven mindset and aptitude for engineering excellence
  • Have a strong product management background and technical background
  • Experience in leading software development with products deployed globally in enterprise SaaS/cloud-based platform environments
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite and Project products.
  • Possess basic financial skills.
