Position Title: Wetstock IT Support Specialist

Location: DFS Wetstock (Skelmersdale)

Reports to: Manager, Wetstock IT Support

Position Summary

:

This role within Dover Fueling Solutions will be pivotal in the supply of our world class wetstock monitoring services and have a direct impact on our customer’s experience with Dover Fueling Solutions products.

The role sits within a team of 7 based in the Skelmersdale Business Unit. The role will work closely with the data analytics teams, site services and all DFS departments to ensure best in class technical, application, product and service support to both the business and its clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide best in class technical, application & product support to the business and its customers ranging from remote global hardware/ software maintenance to bespoke application support.
  • Provide multi-platform support via phone, application, helpdesk and chat whilst also providing support for a dedicated allocation of remote devices.
  • Be a key contributor, working directly with the SIT and Wetstock Analysis teams on existing customer networks and new client development, with focus on the customer experience and serviceability.
  • Provide problem resolutions for technical issues escalated to you as a global product expert from our internal teams worldwide, partners and customers.
  • Be a cross functional team member helping to identify and perform corrective/preventive actions through root cause analysis.
  • Engage with the technical service community and other key functions of the company to share product and application knowledge.
  • Seek process improvement opportunities to streamline processes and increase the added value the wetstock support function.
  • Be aligned with and champion the Dover values and cultural characteristics

Candidate Experience and Qualifications:
  • Two or more years’ experience in a technical role
  • Experience working directly with both external and internal customers
  • Experience of working in a highly reactive support environment
  • Display an aptitude for continuous improvement
  • Desire to drive for high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Highly conversant with windows 10 OS and MS Office tools
  • Aptitude for learning new software and applications
Desirable

:
  • Technical understanding of retail forecourt equipment
  • Understanding of Wetstock Management

  • Provide multi-platform reactive support via phone, application, helpdesk and chat whilst also performing remote maintenance and proactive support for a global estate of remote monitoring systems.
