The Role

RES are proud of our reputation as leaders in renewable energy and for demonstrating that a zero carbon future is possible, affordable and desirable. To support our growth plans we are looking to develop a broad range of digital tools to help scale our support service business which already operates more than 7GW of wind, solar and battery storage farms. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will manage a software product group responsible for a suite of digital tools which will help analyse and optimise our fleet of operational wind farms. Our vision is for these tools to be available both to our internal userbase and our external clients to provide seamless digital management of our operational fleet.

Accountabilities
  • Take accountability for a suite of software as a service (SaaS) products and line management of software developers.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitor products and user/client requirements. Seek feedback from internal users and external clients to ensure intended benefits/outcomes are realised and to the product.
  • Collaborate with internal department managers, business development teams and key account teams to maximise revenue growth.
  • Help define the long-term Product Strategy in response to changing market dynamics, stakeholder/user requirements and technology landscape.
  • Be accountable for the product budgets and ensure management of the software products observing company management frameworks.
  • Collaborate with related software products groups to ensure cooperation and ensure full integration with the RES Support Service Platform digital hub.
Knowledge
  • Software Product Management best practice.
  • Agile Software development and operations best practices (DevOps).
  • Software accessibility best practices.
  • Requirements gathering and business analysis.
  • Knowledge of Operational Wind Farm Data Analytics and Optimisation.
  • Knowledge of Renewable Energy Asset Management, O&M and other related service models.
  • Knowledge of typical wind SCADA data sources (Web services, SQL, OPC, Modbus) desirable. Knowledge of CMS (Condition Monitoring Systems) desirable.

Qualifications
