c£42,000 per annum plus bonus

We are working with a Lexcel accredited, award-winning, regional law firm, who are seeking an experienced Associate Level Private Family Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to work at their office in Stourbridge.

The role will involve:

• Running your own caseload of private family matters including divorce, financial settlements, pre and post nuptial agreements, co-habitation agreements, privatechildren matters, domestic violence,
• Providing family law advice to clients
• Handling matters from initial instruction through to completion
• Supporting development of the department and the company as a whole
• Conducting proceedings on a range of privately funded matters
• Conducting own advocacy work
• Handling queries by email and telephone
• Use of case management system
• Assisting with the supervision of support staff

Suitable candidates will have:

• Fully Qualified Solicitor or FCILEx status
• Extensive experience of managing a private family caseload
• The ability to manage cases from start to finish without supervision
• Experience in conducting own advocacy work
• A working knowledge of Lexcel requirements
• Membership of Resolution and the Law Society’s Family Panel (preferred)
• Experience of handling high value matters
• Experience of using a legal case management system
