Our client is the leading Can manufacturer in the country. They are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Print operative to join their team. 12 hour Continental Shift Pattern Days & Nights - Monthly alternation
Salary: £34540 Key Responsibilities:-To observe company health, safety and environmental regulations at all times.
  • To comply with BRC requirements at all times
  • To set and run the printing line
  • To prepare materials required for the next job on the programme and ensure they are in good order
  • To produce each job according to specification on Works order and Target card
  • To inform Shift Manager of any machine failures, defective materials or any other problems
  • To isolate any non-conforming product and report to Shift manager and QC
  • TO hand over to the on-coming Printer and inform him/her of the state of the line
  • To communicate effectively with other team members.
  • To minimise waste and maintain a clean and tidy work place.
  • To maintain accurate records according to Company requirements.
  • To adhere to ISO 9001 requirements.
