As Financial Controller you are responsible for providing financial analysis and reporting in an accurate, complete and timely fashion to support our strategic plan(EVA, WIGs…). The Financial Controller is responsible for supporting EVA growth (profitability/invested capital) of the plant aswell as maintaining compliance(tax, legal, reporting).

The main duties include

MANAGEMENT

oManage the finance team

oDevelop knowledge/expertise of the finance team

oAct as a business partner with the plant manager, the local management and the group

organization

oEnsure the smooth running of all day-to-day financial operations of the Plant

PLANT CONTROLLING

oHave a proactive and effective best cost, best value approach to identify opportunities in the plant to make better operational and strategic decisions

oControl and explain the financial results

oFully support plant objectives

oPrepare and monitor the justifications for capital expenditure

oProduce annual budgets and quarterly forecasts

oMonitor and optimise the treasury position of the Plant

GROUP REPORTING

oProduce Group reporting accurately and in time

oParticipate in Group financial projects

COMPLIANCE/LEGAL/STATUTORY

oFCPA/UKBA/SOX

oApply US Gaap principles based on Group accounting manual

oTake responsibility for the preparation of the statutory accounts and management of the audit relationship

oTake responsibility for all company secretarial duties and UK statutory compliance

oEnsure legal compliance of all taxation requirements including preparation of the annual tax return

oEnsure legal compliance of all pension schemes

oTake responsibility for local insurance requirements and renewals

SYSTEM

oDevelop management reporting systems including working to strict Group dealines

oMonitor and optimise the internal financial systems to ensure maximum effectiveness, efficiency and compliance
