Pressure Tester – Engineering Operative

Workington, Cumbria

Rate : negotiable ph (PAYE)

MacArthur Recruitment are looking to fill a short-term post for a Pressure Tester (Engineering Operative) to do fairly simple pressure testing on various vessels. You will probably be from a mechanical background – Garage Mechanic, Fitter, or similar.

The role involves putting a blank on the vessel, filling it up with water and then testing to the required pressure. No other mechanical work is involved.

This is a short-term role to start asap and will run for 2-3 weeks however it could lead to further work.

Background for the role of Pressure Tester – Engineering Operative :
  • Background in mechanics, general engineering, fitting or similar
  • Putting blanks on the vessel, filling with water and performing the pressure test
  • General health and safety
