The candidate will be required to prepare, service and maintain Aston Martin Press/ Sales & Marketing vehicles to satisfy both internal & external loans to the highest standard.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle service and repair.
  • Vehicle test/event preparation.
  • Strip and inspect parts.
  • HV component assembly and operation (training provided).
  • Problem solving to aid in solution of current vehicle issues.
  • Preparation of Aston Martin products to required standards.
  • Service and maintenance of worldwide Aston Martin Press/Marketing/Sales fleet.
  • Interaction with attribute engineering team for fault diagnosis and issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle log files detailing all work actioned on all fleet vehicles.
  • Support media launch activities as required.
  • Provide support and technical knowledge to dealer networks and regional offices.
  • Carry out Rework Instruction Sheet updates on pre-production cars.
  • Carry out Warranty work on Press fleet as required.
  • Support various media launches both UK & overseas.
  • Identify by means of Engineering Change Management System any improvements to or mismatches of parts or operations that will assist in both product and / or process quality improvements.
  • Follow H&S guidelines.
  • Housekeeping duties.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Ability to perform detailed inspection
  • Failure investigations and problem solving
  • Working across cross functional teams effectively
  • Ability to read, interpret and work to engineering drawings / process sheets.
  • Extensive knowledge of Aston Martin products both past and present.
  • Positive, can do attitude is a must
  • Team player but also able to work independently.
  • Self-starting, relishes challenges
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to new situations
  • Ability to travel to support overseas events
  • Must be willing to work overtime at short notice both during the week and at weekends to support tight deadlines
  • Full Apprenticeship (Motor Vehicle background) ideally to HNC level
