This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team within Investments at AGI for a 2 year FTC.

## Work with the Portfolio Managers within the London Fixed Income teams to implement investment decisions in the portfolios via the creation of appropriate orders which are then implemented by the dedicated execution desk, including booking of orders in thinkFolio and Bloomberg AIM, updating of orders post execution.
## Work with the relevant functions to ensure start of day readiness of the Fixed Income portfolios, including identification of data issues, co-ordination with the relevant internal functions to ensure swift resolution of any issues, keeping the Portfolio Managers updated on the resolution of the issues.
## Support the Portfolio Managers in analysing and fixing any data issues identified within the portfolios, in-conjunction with the Fixed Income Investment Services support teams.
## Support the Portfolio Managers in ensuring all new accounts and funds are correctly set-up as part of the on-boarding / new fund launch process, including co-ordinating with the relevant internal functions to ensure the e-2-e set-up is done in a timely and correct manner
## Develop a solid understanding of the Fixed Income Portfolio Management solution – thinkFolio. Understand the different configuration and views which can be set-up, and support the portfolio managers in creating and adapting these views to fit their needs.
## Be one of the lead point-persons for the Fixed Income teams throughout the roll-out of the new Fixed Income Target Operating Model.
## Monitor Fixed Income portfolios’ position weights and risk analytics compared to benchmarks and targets.
## Gain a deep understanding of the portfolios and their investment guidelines, assisting the portfolio management team to implement strategy changes whilst maintaining guideline adherence.
## Close collaboration with colleagues in other regions to provide global coverage and to stay abreast of any new functions/features valuable to the business

## Either completed or currently studying for a University degree in Economics, Finance, Maths or Accounting
## Numerate (strong mathematical background), genuine interest in building a career in asset management
## Strong attention to detail
## Very collegiate/proven experience working as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
## Strong Excel skills an advantage, knowledge of Bloomberg helpful.
## Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills.
## Excellent communication skills.
## Strong organisational skills, willingness to show leadership and ownership. Excellent time management skills
## Good understanding of global financial markets, including modeling and pricing of fixed income and their derivatives
## Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel. SQL and Python programming skills desirable
## Ability to work in a dynamic, very international and culturally sensitive environment
