Vacancy Description

This is an ideal post for a person with previous experience in enforcement or development control looking for the challenge of working for a new authority. You will investigate alleged breaches of planning control, collecting and collating evidence, monitoring compliance with planning conditions, and preparing reports for draft notices.

The successful applicant will form part of the Planning Enforcement Team within the Place Directorate and will report to the Development Management Manager – Enforcement and Conservation. The ability to develop and maintain relationships with council members, officers, statutory bodies, applicants and agents is essential and the applicant must have a high level of diplomacy.
