The Payroll Assistant will provide invaluable support to our busy Payroll team. Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with accurate and timely input of payroll and personal data in to the time and attendance system (Protime)
  • Generating pension letters
  • Generating P45s
  • Maintaining the staff healthcare plan (Medicash) portal
  • Ordering staff complimentary tickets
  • General filing and administrative support
  • Responding to queries

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a basic understanding of payroll
  • Good communication, customer service and time management skills
  • Have a basic knowledge of data protection and be respectful of personal and confidential information
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • To have basic skills in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word and proficient keyboard skills to assist in data entry
  • Have a flexible approach to work and be keen to support colleagues
  • Experience working in a similar role (e.g. payroll/admin) is desirable

It would be an advantage if candidates are available immediately/at short notice.

Hours of work are 25 hours per week, worked over 4 or 5 days, Monday-Friday between our core working hours of 8.30am-5pm.
