Page Personnel are currently working with a well established company in the Transport and Distribution sector, who are searching for a part time Payroll/HR Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is based in Hessle and demands a strong attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality. This is a mid-sized company in the Transport & Distribution industry, employing over 500 individuals. Job Description

  • Oversee all payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle HR administrative tasks, including employee records and benefits management.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance department in budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Liaise with other departments to streamline HR and payroll processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Respond to employee queries regarding payroll and HR matters.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Part-time Payroll/HR Officer should have:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and HR systems.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with the Transport & Distribution industry’s regulations and standards.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
