An exciting new opportunity to join our Sevenoaks Office as a Office Manager on a part time basis.

Role Overview :



The Office Manager is integral to the smooth and efficient running of the office. The role will involve working closely with the Head of Office and HR. This is a busy and varied role that will suit someone who thrives under pressure . As the role is managing a busy office, it will be office based on a part time basis but with some flexibility to suit the needs of the teams.


Key Responsibilities :


Office Management:

  • Co-ordination of desk moves and office works
  • Responsibility for and co-ordination of ISO and Compliance AuditsMonitor
  • General upkeep of fixtures and fittings within office
  • Liaising with landlord
  • Liaising with office cleaners
  • Liaising with Facilities Management in respect of the management /maintenance of franking machine, shredding machine, security alarms and any other office related equipment/systems.
  • Organising internal and external office events
  • Co-ordinating production of office wide promotional marketing material, e.g. brochures, adverts, merchandise etc.
  • Organising, attending and minuting monthly Head of Department meetings
  • Manage the Sevenoaks office intranet page
  • Coding of supplier invoices and organising payment thereof

    My HR/Staff :
  • Maintain and record sickness on My HR and notify payroll on a monthly basis
  • Complete new joiner/leaver administration on My HR
  • Undertake new joiner office induction and complete checklist.
  • Co-ordinate work experience requirements within the office and liaising with the Graduate Team.
  • Liaise with HR Business Partner with regard to any personnel issues when necessary.

    Health and Safety:
  • Assist the Head of Office with fulfilling Health & Safety duties as detailed on the Office Health & Safety Checklist.
  • Health & Safety contact for office to include the following (all in accordance with the H&S Manual as updated from time to time)
  • Fire Alarm - weekly check of alarm, monthly check of emergency lighting
  • Regularly review Work Place and Personal Risk Assessments in conjunction with the H&S contact.
  • Ensure Fire Risk Assessments are carried out and reviewed annually (either by H&S contact or external consultant)
  • Carry out annual evacuations and record as appropriate
  • Report work place accidents
  • Ensure adequate first aid cover for office is in place
  • Management of office contractors in accordance with Company guidelines
  • Manage the office Business Continuity Plan


Team Overview :


The Savills Sevenoaks office has teams from Residential Sales, Lettings, Residential Development Sales (New Homes),Planning, Development (Commercial), Residential Compliance, Rural Estate Management. Each team has it’s own Head of Department.

There are around 85 people in the office. The Rural Team has 15 team members.
