This sought after part-time HR Business Partner role has the option to work either 2 or 3 days a week. A household name, this manufacturing organisation is based in the Caerphilly area. Reporting to the General Manager and partnering with the business, you can look forward to:

  • Working closely with the senior management team
  • Balancing business and employee needs
  • Advising and supporting management on disciplinaries, grievances, policies, procedures and employment law
  • Reviewing sickness trends, liaising with management to keep levels as low as possible
  • Using a coaching and mentoring style of leadership, support with performance management to help team members reach their potential
  • Coaching, mentoring and upskilling all levels of management on people processes
  • Co-ordinating performance appraisal process
  • Co-ordinating talent mapping and succession planning
  • Supporting employee engagement
  • Undertake a number of HR projects
  • Participate in a culture of continuous improvement
  • HR Projects
  • Generate MI reports for senior management – headcount, absence, turnover
  • Manage 3 direct reports

We are looking for a candidate who is:

  • Either fully or partly CIPD qualified
  • Well experienced as an HR generalist
  • Accustomed to working in a fast moving environment, meeting tight deadlines
  • Has a strong leadership style of coaching
  • Has the ability to build sound relationships across all levels.
  • An excellent knowledge of employment law is essential
  • High level of IT literacy
