The Role

You will be a valued member of the Financial Team. Responsible for everything you would expect as a paraplanner you will be managing the preparation, implementation and reviews for the financial plan and advise for a variety of HNW clients. Beyond this you will be delivering support and research for the team of Financial Advisers and will be responsible for producing technical support and reports to a high standard.

Keen to develop and progress from within the team this is an ideal opportunity for a Paraplanner with the ambition to progress.

Typical Day
  • Working with the Advisers to understand client’s objectives.
  • Undertaking research to find solutions and present recommendations to Advisers.
  • Prepare a variety of professional reports, letters, statements, e-mails etc. for providers and clients.
  • Cash flow analysis and for clients
  • Building rapport and relationships with clients over the phone and face to face
  • Attending client meetings with Advisers where appropriate
  • Managing Adviser diaries, client meetings and telephone/written correspondence.


Must Have
  • Experience as a Paraplanner or Financial Adviser
  • Qualified to diploma level (or making good progress towards it)
  • Knowledge of Investment, Pension and Protection products
  • Knowledge of usual MS software and financial services software
  • e.g. Intelligent Office, FE Analytics, Defaqto Engage and extranet/internet sites.
  • A sharp focus on detail and accuracy
  • Excellent and clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Sound background education (English/Maths GCSE grade C minimum)
