We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experiencedOT Team Leader tojoin our Automation Department at our Workington Mill. The Workington Mill produces premium paperboard under the brand Incada. Our paperboard is an integral part of the shopping experience for our client’s customers. About The RoleReporting to the IT & OT Manager, our OT Team Leaderwill manage the OT Team and will also be a member of Engineering duty rota.Our OT Team Leaderwill Be Responsible For
  • Approval of Work in alignment with Strategy and Budget
  • Prioritisation of Work based on Business Impact & Probability
  • Confirmation of Work Schedule
  • Sign-Off of Work to Budget
  • Schedule Carryover Decisions
  • Development and delivery of Asset Category Roadmaps for DCS, PLC, QCS, Drives and Rackrooms
  • Own and Develop the Functional Safety Management System
  • Own and Develop OT backups & software version control
  • Approval of Modifications to OT systems
  • Management of OT tools & equipment
  • Criticality Analysis, Failure Analysis & Maintenance Strategy for OT assets
  • RCA team membership and leading Downtime Incidents & Actions
  • Appraisals, Coaching, 1-2-1’s, Recruitment, Succession Planning, Competence Management and MBO for OT team
  • Non-Injury Incident Investigations
  • Manage OT actions for business continuity & risk management
  • OT Cost Centre and Service Contract management including Approval & Analysis, Administration and Reviews
What we’re looking for in our OT Team Leader:
  • Educated to HNC level (or equivalent in a technical discipline) preferred
  • Have completed a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship
In Addition To This, The Following Are Desired
  • Good knowledge of managing workforce
  • Knowledge of creating and managing contracts
  • Knowledge of pulp and paper process
  • Practical experience of process industry
  • Trained in Health and Safety (IOSH)
  • Engineering degree
  • Computer literate with knowledge of ‘windows Office’ suite
  • Good knowledge of engineering maintenance systems
