Abatec are looking for an Office Administrator for our client based in Portbury Docks.

Day to day you will be using Excel/Access databases, internal software/applications, analysing performance in order to provide insights and identify potential issues.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain our internal parts database ensuring details are updated regularly
  • Keeping track of assets/critical spares and location.
  • Liaising with the management team to ensure requirements are met.
  • Assist our team with admin and data entry duties
  • Adopt a professional yet friendly approach to build a strong rapport with accounts
  • Raising Purchase Orders as required by the business

You will need:

  • Excellent MS Office skills – Word, Excel,
  • Excellent organisational, time management and administrative skills with the ability to support the delivery of multiple commitments.
  • Ability to think and work dynamically managing a variety of tasks and competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving experience to understand and resolve any issues encountered
  • Previous experience within parts supply, Light Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle would be advantageous
  • Strong IT skills essential. Email, Word and Excel all used daily

Candidates should have an excellent grasp of English and be confident in computer use, including but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook.
