An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client based in Bridgwater. They are a successful Engineering company that are offering a stable and lucrative career in their machine shop.

They require Machine Operatives who will be responsible for the smooth running of the production shop floor.

We have several new, multi-skilled positions available across the factory and are looking for individuals who have previously worked in similar roles within a fast-paced production environment however all Training will be provided.

Main daily duties:

  • Production and packing of goods as detailed on the daily job sheets.
  • Continual checking of quality and quantity of goods produced to ensure compliance with the job sheet, reporting any non-compliance to the Production Supervisor.
  • Ensure you work in the most efficient ways in order to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Working as a part of a busy team to reach common goals.
  • Assisting with upkeep of tidy work areas and keeping production areas clean and organised

About You

  • Physically fit, experienced in manual handling
  • Reliable with a good attendance record.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with the self-motivation to achieve target outputs per shift.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Great attention to detail and manual dexterity

This position will suit a reliable individual with a good attendance record to apply their skills from a similar production, manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Full Time – Double days Monday to Friday (week 1: 06:00 – 14:00, week 2: 14:00 – 22:00) OR Night shift Sunday to Thursday (22:00 – 06:00)
