Blandford Community Mental Health Team are seeking a registered Nursing Associateto join the well established MDT.

The role will be part of an integrated health and social care team providing care and recovery for patients who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health.

The role will offer interventions in a wide variety of clinical, therapeutic and social forms with the aim of promoting health, wellbeing, self-autonomy and independence.

The post holder will have a breadth of knowledge across the lifespan and across the fields of nursing, providing holistic and person centred care. They will work effectively as part of a team and provide support and guidance to less experienced staff and student learners within the clinical environment as needed. The nursing associate will work independently under the leadership of the registered nurse, working within the sphere of nursing and care and within all aspects of the nursing process.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £40 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments. This will only apply to candidates who are new to the Trust and not internal staff.

Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge.
