We have a fantastic new opportunity to join our busy New Business Team, as a New Business Support. The successful applicant will support the New Business Managers and New Business Support Team to ensure the smooth running of onboarding new properties into the Travel Chapters portfolio.

You will also beresponsible for supervising the New Business Support Team effectively ensuringobjectives, targets and service levels are met and operational focus isprovided. You will need to understand business objectives, deliver and beresponsible for carrying out procedures to ensure the teams are supported andable to conduct their primary function. You will also need to perform taskseffectively and efficiently within TC guidelines to meeting Service LevelAgreements

Essential

  • Managing a team with a proven record of providing excellent quality andservice. Working closely with team members to assist on the more complexmatters to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Excellent relationship skills as a result of creating and developingstrong working relationships to achieve department and company targets.
  • A practiced people manager in recruitment, coaching and development oftalent.
  • Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment with a hands-onapproach thinking proactively and creatively and manage a number of ongoingtasks.
  • Organised, with an ability to work to given deadlines. Professionalismunder pressure and flexible approach to the challenges.
  • Understanding of how to prioritise workflow.
  • Excellent administration and customer service skills and attention todetail.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of the holiday letting industry would be advantageous.
  • Good IT, numeracy, and literacy skills

Desirable

  • Experience of Salesforce would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Ability to deal with criticism, handling conflicts and problems withminimal assistance

Working Hours

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm

Work Location

  • Ability to work from home during the covid-19 pandemic and then you willwork from HQ in Bideford after the pandemic.

WHAT WILL YOU BEDOING?

RoleResponsibilities;

  • Supervise the New Business Support Team effectively ensuring all targets, KPIs and team objectives are met.
  • Responsible for training the New Business Support Team and New BusinessManagers.
  • Carry out regular 1-2-1s with the New Business Support Team ensuring records are kept up to date.
  • Direct and monitor performance with a daily focus to ensure excellenceacross the team.
  • Allocation of the weekend rota to ensure adequate cover is in place throughoutthe month to accommodate the needs of the business.
  • Work closely with Head of Sales Operations to provide additionalsupport/assistance and people development.
  • Ensure Health & Safety and welfare of all staff within the team.
  • Liaise with New Owners and New Business Managers to ensure allproperties are added to the system correctly and efficiently whilst enhancingthe quality of the owner proposition.
  • Identify new opportunities to improve efficiencies and work closely withHead of Sales Operations on any changes.
  • Oversee the monitoring of the Property Info Checker to keep propertydata up to date.
  • Highlight any deficiencies in quality of work/procedures not beingfollowed or any other area of concern to Head of Sales Operations or relevantRegional Head of Sales
  • Use property dashboard and report to monitor workflows and targets
  • Build a culture of sharing best practice experience and knowledge andcelebrating successes and achievements within the team.
  • Collaborating with the property support team to ensure a smooth handoverof properties, ehouse photography completed and relevant reviews are conducted.
  • Overseeing tasks and workflows are complete
  • Maintenance of the Knowledge Base ensuring the most up to dateinformation and procedures for the department are uploaded
  • Daily monitoring of answerphone messages, e-mails, and post
  • Report on tasks completed, calls and volume of emails daily
  • Ensure documents are scanned and filed correctly and comply with thedata protection rules and regulations
