As a National Administration Assistant specialising in planning, you’ll be the one to help us keep on top of our finances and plan for the future.

You’ll work alongside a team that takes a closer look at how Aldi is performing and share best practice knowledge with our international business. Crucially, you’ll act independently and provide assistance in the production of planning reports for GB and IE, so it’s important you work clearly and methodically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and release sales and customer data to the business.
  • Prepare reports relating to monthly financial projections.
  • Consolidate country financial projections.
  • Support the Planning Team in completion of month end reporting.
  • Use of national data warehouse to upload financial plans and prepare planning reports.
  • Support the Planning Team Manager responsible for consolidation of the national budget.
  • Provide data to Planning Managers from reporting systems.
  • Liaise with regions and national departments to support the planning process.
  • Manage shared mailbox on a rota basis.

Essential Skills Required:

  • AAT qualified.
  • Experience of working with various stakeholders.
  • Accuracy and an eye for detail, always employing the appropriate checks to ensure data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and understands the importance of meeting deadlines and how this effects the wider business.
  • Works clearly and methodically with a large amount of data.

Desirable Skills Required:

  • Part-qualified CIMA or equivalent.
  • Familiar with a corporate environment.
