We welcome applications from experienced Technicians who are NVQ level 3 trained, or equivalent, able to undertake both minor and major mechanical faults (including engine repairs) as well as regular servicing on a variety of vehicles within the Menwith Hill fleet. Our fleet consists of light & heavy commercial vehicles, including buses and some plant machinery, both petrol & diesel. You must possess a Full UK drivers’ licence in order to move vehicles around and be willing to undertake On-Call duties, including some evenings & weekends, attracting additional allowance.The applicant will be part of the small team within the Motor Pool, reporting to the Workshop Chargehand and in turn the Fleet Manager. You will be comfortable working within a team and equally capable of working with little supervision.
