Job: Mobile Air Conditioning EngineerLocation: Doncaster (Field-based)Salary: Up to £37,440 per annum - dependent on qualifications and experience.Are you a skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking for a new and exciting opportunity?We are collaborating with a reputable Facilities Management company known for its excellence in delivering integrated solutions. They are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team in Doncaster.If you have a passion for providing exceptional service and expertise in air conditioning systems, this could be the perfect role for you.Key Responsibilities- Take ownership of the mobile air conditioning maintenance and repair activities across various client locations in Doncaster.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and reactive repairs on air conditioning units and ventilation systems.
- May also be required to work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets or ice machines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot air conditioning equipment faults, ensuring efficient resolution to maintain optimal system performance.
- Collaborate closely with the facilities management team, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate maintenance activities and deliver high-quality service.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks, including work completed, parts used, and service reports.
- Stay up to date with industry regulations, best practices, and emerging technologies in air conditioning systems.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
- Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds: Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Level 3. FGAS certification is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, including split units, VRV/VRF, and ventilation.
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving air conditioning equipment faults efficiently.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota.
