Salary: Up to £35,000

Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30 – 4:30, Friday 7:30 – 1:30

If you are a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for a new and exciting role in a market leading company, this is the role for you. You will be working in a dynamic team, working for a range of clients across a number of industries to produce the highest quality machinery.

Job Description:

  • Machinery design using 2D & 3D software
  • Research and identify solutions for any design related issues as well as ensuring that the company is informed of new and emerging technologies
  • Assist with feasibility and costing
  • Provide technical advice across the department and to clients and stakeholders
  • Produce supporting documentation including technical and build manuals
  • Complete BOMs
  • Provide hands on build support
  • Assist with commissioning and Testing
  • Complete post completion reviews
  • Ensure compliance to the relevant Health, Safety and Quality standards.

Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2-3+ years in industry
  • Experience designing pumps, hydraulics, panels, framework, tooling
  • Ability to complete hands on build activities
  • 2D & 3D design software (Autodesk Inventor desirable)
  • Experience in Project management
  • Understanding of manufacturing, commissioning, and testing of new equipment
  • Team player
  • Strong communication stills

Salary: Up to £35,000
