WHAT YOU’LL DO

As an integral part of the BCG Platinion business service team, part of the Boston Consulting Group, you will make a significant contribution to the success of our company.
Support us as a Marketing Senior Coordinator with a focus on content & communication in WESA, supporting the positioning of our brand and offering, as an attractive employer across Europe and in communicating our digital service portfolio.

YOU WILL

  • Work closely with our priority industry leads to develop and deliver an effective content strategy, aligned to our brand strategy which will position PLA as a leading voice externally in digital & technology
  • Seek out existing PLA content that is interesting and beneficial to our audiences and lead the planning, creation/editing and delivery of that content across all of our channels
  • Identify gaps and create/commission inspiriting and engaging content, ensuring it is written to a high standard and incorporates input from key stakeholders across the wider organisation. Ensuring all content produced is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, mobile, video and print.
  • Supervise (internal/external) writers, editors, and content creators; be an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style
  • Conduct ongoing usability tests to gauge content effectiveness. Gather data and handle analytics and make recommendations based on those results. Working with owners of content to revise and measure against marketing goals.
  • Develop standards, systems and best practice for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing.
  • Work with Industry leads to leverage market data to develop content themes/topics and execute a plan to develop assets that will engage our audiences.
  • Establish workflow for requesting, creating, editing and publishing content

YOU’RE GOOD AT

  • You will have the combination of a marketing and publishing mindset, with the most important aspect being to think ‘customer first’. In essence you will be a corporate storyteller. Specific skills required include
o Proven editorial skills. Outstanding command of the English language
o Training in how to tell a story using words, images or audio and an understanding of how to create content that draws an audience.
o Skilled at both long-form content creation and real-time content creation and distribution strategies and tactics
o Clear articulation of the business goal behind the creation of a piece (or series) of content
o Project management skills to manage editorial schedules and deadlines within corporate and on-going programme campaigns
o Excellent negotiator and mediator
o Great people skills
o Fluency in web analytics tools, social media marketing applications and leading social media monitoring platforms
o A willingness to embrace change and to adapt strategies as required
o Great powers of persuasion and presentation (PowerPoint & Miro)
o And most importantly: you enjoy familiarizing yourself with a wide variety of topics and helping to shape diverse projects

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or related communications field or relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience, preferably from a tech and agency environment
  • International experience (desirable not essential)
  • Extensive experience in multichannel content creation
  • Experience with creating compelling messages for different target demographics
  • Experience networking & forming relationships in a global firm
