WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will consistently help raise the bar for all aspects of marketing by striving for quality in everything that you do, focussing on continuous improvement, constructively questioning the norm and thinking ‘how could this be better?’ You will be a confident ‘full mix’ marketer with particular expertise in supporting the creation and execution of high-quality experiences and content for internal and external audiences.

The key components of the role are as follows:
  • Supporting the LAB Marketing team with high profile events and campaigns, including drafting content to engage audiences digitally (email, LinkedIn) and for event material, briefing stakeholders, and helping to create a high-quality experiences for client across physical and virtual events
  • Supporting the LAB Internal Communications and Engagement Manager to engage the business with communications and activities that foster engagement, affiliation and promote the firm’s strategic objectives
  • Supporting managers to engage Practice Area leaders on marketing activities e.g. encouraging engagement with opportunities, best practices, pitching ideas, and reporting progress against

YOU’RE GOOD AT

  • Helping build, nurture and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and senior business communities across functions and industries
  • Designing and managing every aspect of integrated marketing campaigns and events e.g. scheduling and managing project meetings, liaising with internal and external teams/agencies to deliver against timelines
  • Working with managers to bring new ideas to the table, set objectives and raise the bar e.g. creating experiences that excite and delight employees at major internal events (physical and virtual)
  • Understanding how internal communications operates and adds value to the firm, and ways in which it can be activated to engage and inspire employees
  • Owning a content pipeline e.g. thinking ahead to align potential stories with firm priorities, adapting content by channel and scheduling accordingly
  • Using CRM data to identify suitable targets for marketing activities and running approval processes in accordance with GDPR
  • Creating engaging copy for internal and external audiences, with a specific appreciation of the need to tailor messaging appropriately
  • Managing all elements of events, from opportunity analysis to design and execution e.g. venue sourcing, third party management (partners/vendors/memberships), logistics and participant preparation, budget management, post event analysis and reporting
  • Operating in a complex, global structure e.g. multiple marketing communities, practice areas and partner stakeholders
  • Monitoring impact and reporting this back to stakeholders, including spotting where activities can be done better and translating learnings and feedback into best practice processes or ‘off the shelf’ tools

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • 3-4+ years’ experience in a full mix marketing coordinator role, ideally in Professional Services
  • Proficiency in martech e.g. CRM systems such as Microsoft Power BI, Marketo, Salesforce, Exact Target,
  • Digital channels/tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram (advertising a plus), Slack, Trello, Outlook
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Proven project management experience in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
  • Demonstrable tenacity and ability to creatively solve problems, particularly when the answer isn’t obvious
