WHAT YOU’LL DO

In this cross-functional role you will be responsible for developing, overseeing and managing the Global Services (GS) contingent workforce policies and end to end processes. You will partner with colleagues in HR, Procurement, Legal, Finance and Operations to ensure our Global functions are able to leverage contingent workers as part of their broader resource strategies in a streamlined and efficient manner, while maintaining appropriate risk review, oversight and compliance.

Your days will be varied; on-boarding resources ranging from one off freelancers to large scale vendor project teams, working with business customers to drive engagement and education, partnering with other functions to build a strong, commercially focused control environment whilst developing processes to ensure accurate data capture and reporting and maintaining oversight and responsibility of process performance etc.

The position will be based in our GS London hub in order to maximise access to business stakeholders across the globe from Boston to Delhi. It will require a global mind-set and the requirement of occasional travel to our other locations.

YOU’RE GOOD AT

  • Business process design and management, including the:
    • Design of efficient, customer focused processes and frameworks that allow for regional or regulatory variation whilst still meeting control needs
    • Creation of a culture of ongoing process improvements
    • Delivery within a highly matrixed, globally disparate team
    • Communication, education and change management with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
    • Ability to interpret and meet the needs of the business
  • Managing risk and performance
    • Creation and tracking of key performance indicators
    • Development, interpretation and manipulation of complex data sets to drive improvement and compliance
    • Build interfaces with Data Office, Safety and Security, IT Security and HR to ensure management of risk throughout both contract and resource lifecycles
  • Understanding contractual models and contract life cycles, as well as supplier management, including:
    • Reviewing requests to ascertain contractual model and fit
    • Engaging procurement and legal specialists as needed to route and assess work appropriately
    • Partnering with local geography subject matter experts to ensure compliance

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Eight + years of experience including business process management in a multi-site/ cross country environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Project/change management – implementing new ways of working including deploying technology solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Commercially astute and financially literate you will be experienced in working with supplier contacts
  • Experience within managed service providers and contingent labour could include vendor management, vendor transitions, Statement of Work (SOW) development, implementation of alternative pricing models
  • Experience of professional services is beneficial

YOU’LL WORK WITH

Day to day you will be part of a matrixed team based in London and Delhi and will engage with line managers in all of the GS Functions, inducing IT, marketing, finance and HR. In order to deliver you will build a network of contacts across legal, procurement HR, finance and IT.
