We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to join the Armacell UK & Ireland Business.
Reporting to the UK General Manager, the purpose of the role is to develop, implement and manage Armacell internal and external marketing communication activities that deliver tangible results and supports sales growth.
This will involve driving and managing an overall marketing strategy, aligned with UK business plan and targets, developing, and managing end-to-end communications initiatives, utilising the right communication tools and channels, creating compelling and engaging marketing campaigns, and driving strong brand-awareness.
Drive overall marketing and communications strategy
Responsible for the development and delivery of the local marketing and communications strategy, supporting both short and long-term business objectives. Executing initiatives that drive sales enquiries. Monitoring and reviewing regularly, taking remedial action where required.
Reporting and Budget Management
Analyse and report back on successful marketing initiatives in line with Regional and Global KPIs, understanding ROI and budget adherence.
Development and production of marketing collateral, sales toolkits, and advertisements
Design and production of sales tools and literature, such as product, systems and solution brochures, sales presentations, data sheets and promotional content suitable for a range of different stakeholders (specifiers, installers, distributors and in-direct end users).
Manage digital marketing communications
Develop compelling and engaging digital (on-line) presence and media content, manage regular updates and roll-out of new features and content to UK website, social media, and on-line platforms (NBS Source, CIBSE). Actively monitor website and social media performance.
Manage Public Relations
Build and manage an effective Public Relations strategy that considers all key sectors and audiences, drafting content (thought leadership, press releases, case studies) to ensure a consistent and on-brand message is seen across key media.
Manage and coordinate events and exhibitions
Design, implementation, and coordination of all relevant activities to deliver successful exhibitions and events.
Coordinate with external contractors of marketing services
Managing external design, PR and telemarketing agencies to ensure delivery of high-quality communication on-time and within budget.
Channel Partner Marketing
Work in partnership with key channel partner marketing teams to devise and agree upon co-branded distributor marketing delivered within budget and impact reported regularly.
Global collaboration
Participate in global marketing initiatives to ensure brand and message consistency.

Building competitor and market intelligence
Responsible for the ongoing market insight activities including audience segmentation, messaging, competitor analysis, technical insulation market overview. Reporting back market understanding activities regularly and using information to identify potential new revenue streams and marketing opportunities.
Management of PIM (Product Information Management) database content
Managing the marketing database which serves as the centralized platform for product information and images
Who are we looking for?
Professional Education
Degree in Marketing or Business Administration
At least 8 years of relevant working experience preferably with leadership and strategic marketing experiences
In what?
Companies supplying industrial or construction materials in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, where materials are specified (by engineers) and channeled to market through distributors
Other skills/knowledge?
  • Solid experience in event & project management and e-marketing
  • Good knowledge and skills in building up network with press, media and journalists in the region
  • Ability to deal with numerous tasks of changing priorities
  • Strong market sensitivity
  • Possess good copywriting and editing skills is definitely an advantage
  • Possess intercultural understanding and behaviour

  • Excellent time management skills

Language skills
