Marketing Communications Officer

Life’s great when things are sunny. But along the way, stuff happens. Tricky stuff. Stressful stuff. Sad stuff.

At the Charity for Civil Servants, we can’t always prevent the tricky, stressful, sad stuff from happening (although we wish we could!). But whenever it does happen, we can help people get the best support, and help them thrive.

Right now, we’re looking for a Marketing Communications Officer; could that be you? You will be working with people across the Charity and the Civil Service to basically make our brand marketing and fundraising promotion hit the right notes as one of our Brand Guardians. And you’ll be supporting the creation of our marketing activity with our freelancers across design, illustration, and more.

It’ll draw on your copywriting, organisational and project planning skills, and, if, after a year, you can write a better job pack than this one, then we’ll be singing your praises!

In return for your all your hard work, we can offer you excellent benefits including a health cash plan, life assurance, excellent pension, generous annual leave, access to Headspace, and interest free loans for season tickets and our cycle to work scheme.

To apply, please submit your CV and a covering letter that states why you would be suitable for this role. We expect this role to be pretty popular so we’ll be interviewing as CV are received, so don’t delay, if you’d like to be considered!

Now is an amazing time to be joining the Charity. We are a confident, down-to-earth and dynamic organisation that has recently refreshed its brand. For loads more information about who we are and what we do have a look at our recruitment pack – we think it’s pretty interesting.

The Charity for Civil Servants is committed to building and developing a workforce which reflects the diversity of the civil service community that we support. We seek to ensure all job applications are treated fairly, with respect and without bias and we encourage applications from suitably experienced candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion or belief, or any other factor.
