Seeking an experienced Marketing Executive for an established retail business to work across all of their English-speaking retail regions.

This role is being offered on a full-time permanent basis. 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with some occasional requirement to work weekends around key marketing events for the business.

This role is part of a growth plan to expand an existing marketing team. The role will see the chosen applicant working alongside two marketing focused Community Managers as well as the Marketing Manager and General Manager to deliver marketing globally. This is a chance to work with a British brand that markets globally in the UK, USA, Australia, Europe and Asia.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Global Marketing Manager and General Manager of Retail/PR to ensure a high standard of brand communication across core marketing channels. The role focuses on email, public relations, influencer marketing and social media primarily, but over time training and support to work on digital marketing for Google PPC and Social Media Advertising could become a part of the role.
  • This role is centred around the delivery of marketing for online stores, but also supports wider marketing objectives around awareness and brand penetration globally.
  • Email marketing - creating and managing emails that communicate marketing messages on a regular basis, as well as editing and perfecting email automations.
  • Reviews and loyalty management - engaging influencers, driving user generated content capture and creating emails and content for social with UGC content.
  • Press releases - drafting press releases and identifying brand partnerships, delivering this to media lists collated by the applicant alongside the General Manager and Marketing Manager.
  • Retailer media packs - regularly updating retailer media packs with imagery and marketing guides to help retailers deliver on brand marketing.
  • Basic creative asset creation and briefing of creative partners for email/social/broadcast content to support day to day marketing and communications.

Skills and qualifications:

Essential:

  • Education/training in marketing or a related field.
  • Proficient written and verbal communicator.
  • Proven working experience in a marketing role selling products - 3-years minimum.
  • Strong track record of positive results across email marketing, social media marketing and public relations.
  • Experience working with MailChimp, Dot Digital or similar.
  • Experience creating email with design, writing copy and scheduling marketing campaigns as well working on email automations to improve ecommerce performance.
  • Experience with the ecommerce platform BigCommerce, but other experience is relevant e.g. Shopify
  • Experience writing press releases, liaising with press to share marketing messages and building press lists.
  • Experience with community management organising a customer feedback inbox quickly and efficiently, flagging up the line as required.
  • Experience creating engaging and on-brand content, including text, photos and videos, across various social media platforms and email.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering email marketing, organic social media posts, email marketing.
  • Direct experience with social media posting through Meta Suite, Pinterest and Tik Tok
  • Experience identifying customers and influencers of value to engage with and build marketing communication and collateral through review platforms and social media.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Experience in reporting on marketing activity, particularly across email marketing and social media


Desirable:

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS
  • Experience working with Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Experience with a camera for stills or video
  • Experience with digital marketing tools like Google Adwords, Meta Suite Advertising
  • A strong knowledge of Charlie Bears would be advantageous
  • Experience dealing with customers to support customer service team at peak times
